Edible, human-grade snails. Useful as a food for many species of reptiles, birds, and amphibians.

Edible snails can be a niche treat for wild animals but they will be appreciated by larger birds such as thrushes, blackbirds, robins, starlings, gulls, jays, magpies, seagulls, and owls. They also make a great treat for slow worms and particularly large amphibians.

They are high in protein making them an excellent choice for carnivorous and omnivorous species. Their shells are rich in calcium which aids bone growth and development.

• Medium snails are around 30mm in length
• Large snails are around 45mm in length

There are 2 species and it varies which one we have, they are Helix aspersa aspersa or Helix aspersa maxima.
